Hello

We hope you’ve been enjoying the recent warm weather. ðŸ˜Š We would like to share a few updates on behalf of the Owners Association.

Landscaping & Factor Feedback – We’d Like Your Input

We’ve been reviewing the performance of the current landscaping contractors following ongoing concerns raised by residents. While we continue to work with Hacking & Paterson to improve the overall service, we are also gathering quotes from alternative contractors to understand our options moving forward. Some residents have also raised the possibility of changing the factor entirely.

At this stage, no decisions have been made — we’re simply exploring what might be best for the estate. We’d really value your input on this. If you have any views on how you’d like us to proceed, or if you know of any reliable and reputable contractors you would recommend, please let us know.

Council and Infrastructure Support

We’ve been working closely with MSP Monica Lennon, who has been very proactive and supportive in assisting us to engage with the council. As part of these efforts, Brackenhill Crescent and Jersey Lane have recently been resurfaced. Monica is also helping us to address other issues on the estate, including street lighting and other infrastructure concerns.

Unfinished Estate Section

After numerous calls and emails to Scott Builders, who have bought the estate in its entirety, they made contact very briefly but did not agree with the Owners Association’s view of their responsibilities for developing and maintaining the estate. We are trying to contact them again to discuss further the differences between the OA and Scott Builders’ views on their responsibilities. MSP Monica Lennon is also making contact with them to support this dialogue.

AGM – Save the Date

Please save the date for our first Annual General Meeting, which we are planning to hold on 27th August 2025. More information will follow in due course.

Reporting Issues

As a reminder, please report any estate-related concerns directly to Hacking & Paterson, and include us in your communication where possible so we can stay informed.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement.
